| Ethiopian premier in talks with

ADDIS ABABA, July 21, 2005 (ENA) -- Prime
Minister Meles Zenawi has received and held talks with
prime minister of the Somalia Transitional Government,
Ali Mohammed Gedi at his office.
Prime Minister Ali has discussed with
Prime Minister Meles on Ethiopia-Somalia bilateral
issues after his visits to Libya, according to a senior
government official.
Currently, Ali said, better situations are
being witnessed in Somalia as the transitional
government has been engaged in wide-scale activities.
Prime Minister Meles on his part said the
prevailing stability in Somalia is useful for Ethiopia.
Prime Minister Meles also expressed his
good wishes for the transitional government.
Somalia minister of planning for
international cooperation, Abdulrazak Osman and Special
Envoy of Somalia in Ethiopia, Abdi Karim Farah Laqanyo
have attended the discussion.
