DIPLOMATIC STAFFH.E. Prof. Joseph Nsengimana, Ambassador and Permanent Representative 
Email:nsengimana_jo@yahoo.com Ambassador Nsengimana has been the Permanent Representative of Rwanda to the United Nations since 13 June 2006. In this capacity he oversees all issues of interest to Rwanda at the UN. He also follows several issues closely in the Security Council. Prior to this appointment, Ambassador Nsengimana was a Special Advisor to the President of Rwanda, and served as a Cabinet Minister for six years. Mr. Nicholas SHALITA, First Counsellor

He is responsible for First Committee (Disarmament and International Security) and Fifth Committee (Administrative and Budgetary)issues. He is also responsible for the International Tribunals and Peacekeeping issues. Prior to this appointment, Mr. Shalita worked at the Presidency in Kigali. Mr. Pascal NYAMURINDA, First Secretary
